Couples Therapy
Real couples, real sessions, filmed over several seasons with the psychoanalyst Orna Guralnik.
A documentary series in which actual therapy is shown rather than described. Guralnik works relationally and psychoanalytically but draws on whatever the couple in front of her needs, and the series includes her own supervision sessions, so the viewer sees a clinician thinking and doubting rather than performing expertise.
