Women Are Angry

, In person, The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis

This event has taken place.

Jennifer Cox and Andie Newman discuss Cox's book on women and anger, and the argument that anger women are not permitted to voice turns inward and makes them ill. Cox, a psychotherapist who founded Women Are Mad, offers ways of recognising and naming long suppressed frustration. Newman, an analyst trained at the Site, draws the conversation toward what the consulting room hears when that anger finally surfaces.
