Érico Andrade and Thais Klein ask whether the categories psychoanalysis reaches for when it thinks about violence against women are themselves carrying a patriarchal and colonial grammar. Taking gender and race as tools of epistemological critique, they turn the question back on the discipline and on its ideal of masculinity.
