Freud Seminar: The Rat Man

, In person and online, The Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research

This seminar with Eve Watson explores Freud's 1909 case history of a young man suffering from obsessional neurosis, known as the Rat Man. Participants will examine the patient's compulsions, doubts and fears, alongside Freud's analysis of guilt, ambivalence and paternal relationships. The session is designed for psychotherapists and practitioners wishing to deepen their understanding of obsessional structure through this classic clinical text.
